Project Requirements

1. Development of a Dedicated Invoice Management Web App

The development of a dedicated Web App for Invoice Management is essential to meet the client’s needs for a comprehensive solution in handling their invoicing processes. The Custom Web App Development  aims to provide a user-friendly platform that streamlines and centralizes the management of invoices, offering efficient tools for creating, tracking, and organizing invoicing data. Through this solution, businesses can enhance their invoicing workflows, reduce errors, and improve overall efficiency in financial transactions.

2. Data Integration/Migration to Azure Cloud

The Data Integration/Migration project focuses on ensuring a smooth transition from the old local SQL database to a new, advanced system. This endeavor involves a meticulous process of seamlessly migrating data, preserving its integrity and ensuring compatibility with the Azure cloud infrastructure.

Solutions / Implementation

1. Web Application: We successfully implemented a Web Application using React and Node.js Frameworks, backed by an Azure SQL database. The primary features include:

• Transaction Overview:  A well-organized presentation of sales transactions, categorized into tabs like ‘Awaiting Payment,’ ‘Payment History,’ and ‘Bad-debt.
• Invoice Creation: The Account team can generate PDF invoices for selected transactions, automatically relocating records to the ‘Awaiting Payment’ section.
• User Management System: The web app incorporates a comprehensive user management system to regulate access and permissions.

2. Data Migration to Azure Cloud: As part of the project, we executed a seamless migration of data from the client’s legacy local SQL database to a new Azure cloud server. This involved:

• Azure Cloud Server Setup: Establishment of a new Azure cloud server to host the updated database.
• SSIS Packages and SQL Agent Job: Creation and deployment of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages and a SQL Agent job. These packages run daily at a specified time, ensuring timely updates of database changes on the new Azure cloud server.

This integrated solution significantly improves the efficiency of the client’s car rental service by introducing a robust invoice management system and facilitating a smooth transition to a cloud-based infrastructure.

Conclusion
